Out of the Closet

Well, today is the day that my blog comes out of the closet... so to speak. I am making it available to the whole world! I only hope that people will be able to understand what it is I have created here. It is art, pure and simple. Maybe years from now when people look at this blog, they will understand. Isn't that the curse of all great artists? To not be recognized or understood by their generation?

Pretty Kitty

I love this picture! It's a kitty and a sandwich! This picture just keeps me up and night - laughing and pondering. How did htis little kitty end up in a sandwich? What kind of lunch meat was in the sandwich? I'll bet it was fish, because cat's sure love fish. Do they love cheese? He hasn't touched the lettuce. Why? Where's his mom? I wish my dog would play in sandwiches like this.

If you haven't heard the good news, Beth and I are having a baby. I'm excited to finally be able to apply all of the good advice and knowledge I've stored up over the years. I've done such a great job raising my two dogs to be contributing members of society, I'm sure parenting a baby is even easier.

I think my siblings are a little jealous that I'm going into this knowing so much already about raising kids. I feel that I've really done most of the work in helping my brothers and sister raise their kids, giving them a lot of coaching and valuable insight into how parents should really do their job.

This seems like a raw deal to me. I'd rather have someone else toss my salad.

My Brother Dave

My brother Dave has suddenly had an obsession with the Musical Theater. He first went to see Rent, then Movin Out, and now Tony & Tina's wedding. Everyone in our family is begining to think he is gay. (Including Will, who is now under suspision due to his music choices and the fact that he just finished watching "Chicago."
