Beth came home early around 3 p.m. and by 5 p.m. we had about an 1 1/2 inches. When the snowed stopped falling late in evening we had a total of over 3 inches. Around 6 p.m. our power went out and luckily our neighbors had a generate they were able to hook up for limited power and heat, so we went over there for a few hours.
It is in the mid 40's today, so most of the snow has melted, but it was nice to get a small taste of what it will be like again to live in the snow belt.
