Libby is 11 months old today. She is turning into such a fine young woman. She is now walking with one hand while using her walker. Her first tooth is all the way in and she now can add single digits in her head.

She is very cute, and growing up so fast! Could you explain how you know that she can add single digit numbers in her head?
It is quite easy to do Will. You can practice on your hands and toes at first if you want. Just imagine you have 3 cigarettes and I give you 2 more. In your mind you would put those two numbers together and you would come up with 5 cool, refreshing cigarettes total. Let me know if you need more help with this.
I appreciate the use of objects that I would understand... although the fact that I would be smoking said cigarettes as soon as you handed them to me, kinda makes the math difficult. My real question was how you can tell that Libby is able to do the math.
