A big thank-you goes out to all of you who called Libby today on her 2nd birthday. It meant so much to her that you would call and let her know you are thinking about her and lover her. The calls came in this order:
Uncle Rudi-Saturday 4:30 p.m. (Sunday 7:30 a.m. Brisbane, Australia)
Uncle Dan, Aunt Kris, Matt, Andy, and Steve-O-Sunday 8:12 a.m.
Aunt Errin-Sunday 8:57 a.m.
Papa-Sunday 1:15 p.m.
Aunt Susan, Uncle Kevin, Gabe, Allie, and Bender-Sunday 2:14 p.m.
Aunt Jen, Uncle Damon, Isabelle, and Carly-Sunday 2:48 p.m.
Uncle Will-Sunday 3:21 p.m
Uncle Dave, Aunt Happy, Nate, Maddie, and Em-Sunday 6:19 p.m.
For those of you who forgot you can call back on her next 2nd birthday I guess.
On a completely different subject, was there a cellphone outage in Chicago today?

Do I win for getting the longest distance call? Either way, I win because Libby is my niece.
PS. If she hasn't gotten yet, Libby will be receiving something soon that goes click, clack, and moo... I have no idea what it could be.
This is clearly a case of the first being last and the last first.
We are speechless....does it mean anything that we sent a card in advance and have had her birthday present since you visited in July? Probably not....
Per points 1, 2 and 3 of the Birthday phone call rules a public shunning is not allowed until 12:01 am of the day following the birthday. This post is a breach of the rules and requires a a reverse public shunning.
How come Beth's Mom and John didn't call?
They were probably busy hanging out with Susan and the kids - her children who haven't left her.
Dave I can only hope they didn't call because they forgot because of their advancing age and not because of anything Libby did.
And another public shunning for not acknowledging the first person to "post" birthday wishes to Libby. Look back at your first post regarding Rudi's call. Apparently ALL of we Chicago relatives are being shunned.
Laura, maybe we need to have "selective" amnesia on Nov 19th?
Gail the Great (Aunt)
Sorry Gail, the Kurt's have not updated the rules to include new technology such as text messaging or comments on blogs. As it stands now, only phone calls suffice.
Weak.
Since the first shall be last...
Happy Birthday, Libby! I always buy belated birthday cards because I always know I will be late.
